I have a JVC Modifry DCI interface sitting here infront of me which I ordered a few weeks ago, just a call out there to anyone with the KD-AVX1 HU with the little screen to check that its compatible? I heard somewhere on here that it uses a different IR signal

 

It's compatible. The flip screen makes it a PITA to position the IR wire, but its compatible. The functions are wierd. The big black audio button on the console act like a SHIFT KEY. Press that button with some of the other controls to get to the functions.
