can a lcd headunit fit into the radio console w/o modification?..and if it does will it interfere w/ shifting?

 

no one has done it yet.

 

One of the main problems is that the screen cannot extend fully before it hit's the underside of the dash by your fresh air vents. I do believe that some will clear the shifter...HOWEVER you can hit it with your hand if your shifting on the agressive side.

Oh a video monitor is worth it. Unfortunately there's not really an easy way to do it, that's all. I spent a small fortune mounting mine right into my dash and I absolutely love it. Others have simply mounted a monitor on I guess you'd call it a flexible "Joystick" and that works quite well also.
You can do it...Just not the way you want to
