Default Looking for a good HU for my new s2k

I am picking up my '05 s2k this week and my first mod will be a new head unit. I had the top of the line Alpine CDA unit in my 2002 and I loved it. I would love the same quality, power and features (especially MP3 capability), but this time I have an iPod that I would like to hook up. I don't like the sound quality of the iPod broadcasting things like iTrip, so I would like to be able to hardwire it so I can just plug it in when I get into the car. I dont care about controls- I don't mind using the iPod itself to change and find songs.

So... are there any good (but reasonably priced) HU's that would play MP3's, have an aux input for my iPod, put out decent power without an amp, and play my crappy cd's without skipping? I don't necessarily need to stay with Alpine- I am up for anything.

Thanks a lot.

I just bought the Alpine DVA-9860.
It plays everything and is 'ready' for ipods. But you do need an adapter for that.

The output is enough if you're not running heavy speakers.
It also plays DVD's! So you can put in 4,7GB's of MP3's on a disk and play.

If you get a screen you can play DVD movies and stuff.
