Default Lusid multi-radio dash controller compatibility

I was wondering if there was a setting I could use to work with my eclipse deck?

Hi I just installed the controller in my 03. The instructions for the SWI-X state it will work with any radio (HU) using an IF frequency between 38 and 40 kHz carrier frequency. I would sugest going to the web site of the manufacturer Pacific Accessory Corporation. The maim site is WWW.go2pac.com the tech support is techsupport@go2pac.com .Voice is 714-835-3022 and fax is 714 835-3233. Located isn S California. Incidently by juggeling the resistences there are 12 function that can be programed in. Let me know how it works out.

If Lucid's controller doesn't handle Eclipse, I could help you out. Click my sig for info.

I assume you did not have the HU at the time you bought the DCI from Lucid?

I think Lucid's info is pretty clear on which head units are supported, which at this time does not include Eclipse.
But . . .

I recently heard of a fellow S2000 Atlanta member who just bought an Eclipse too, so maybe I can borrow his remote for a few days and make a DCI that does work with Eclipse. It may take a few weeks, but if I can figure out the Eclipse IR codes I can swap your DCI with an Eclipse version.

Which model do you have? Can you post a photo of the remote?

.

Have you made any progress on this?

I am planning on purchasing a system that includes an eclispe (3413) HU So I have neither the remote or anything that can help you yet.

Petraidm, have you heard anything on this adjustment?

I'm also interested in the version that supports the CD8053. The standard remote for this is the 1802 which is optional for all the other HU's.

Here's the site ... http://www.eclipse-web.com/

Would appreciate hearing if this mod is available

I PM'd modifry and he made no progress. He'll need to get his hands on an Eclipse remote as he says above in order to make a DCI that works with Eclipse. PM him, If you can get access to the remote. I gave up and went with the Alpine deck primarily because the Eclipse HU I wanted would not play mp3s without a special ecom box and the alpine hu was better than the best eclipse model offering built in mp3 capability

Bought the Eclipse CD8053 this weekend. Making arrangements with Modifry to send him my remote so he can tweak the DCI and include Eclipse HU's. This is the most unbelievable head unit I have heard that enable flexibility in sound control without having an equalizer. And it even has an 8 volt out or 16 if using balanced outs.

This is a preamp only so must have separate amp. But anyone pushing high end speakers probably does anyway.

Found out why Eclipse HU's are not available on internet. Seems this is the only HU on the market where the serial number is embedded in the HU circuitry. Press a few buttons and it comes up on the display. Sooo, no trans-shipping / grey market on these babies. Means no authorized dealers will sell these to internet companies at low mark-ups. If they do than they will get their franchise pulled pretty quick
