I ended up calling yesterday and talking to Bill as well after doing further inspection and finding a broken solder connection in one of the ends. He said if I could send it in they would replace it, but also confirmed that if I wanted to attempt to fix it (resolder the connection) myself that it would NOT void my warranty. I opted for the latter as sending them in would basically mean doing the job two more times.

Hope your fix goes well. Bill offered some advise to me about how I could fix the connector myself as well. For me, I'd rather leave it there for now since the connection seems ok for now. I'm still keeping an eye out for replacement RCA. RCA for home use seems to be priced too high. I saw that Crutchfield had some 25ft JL audio premium cables on big sale which looked pretty good. Too bad it's way too long for the S so I didn't get it. If anyone come across a good deal, please post!

My relentless search for a replacement of the faulty Knukonceptz Krystal Klear cables led me to these Rocketfish RCA from Best Buy. They were on sale, for $9 per pair. I quickly ordered them online and picked them up the next day. Let's take a look at build quality - as compared with the Krystal Klear cables:

Feature wise, foil and braided shields, silver solder joints, twisted pair, 24k plated. What's more to expect from a $9 cable. These can easily beat some $80 per pair cables out there IMO. And what I also like about them - there's minimal BS in their marketing language unlike other brands.

Wow, fantastic looking job! I'm using the Alpine PDX's in mine as well, very nice little amps. I'm surprised at how small and cool running they are.

6 feet is more than enough to run to the spare tire well.

I'd say perfect amp for the S given it's size and efficiency

I just looked at this thread and want to bump it because this is an AMAZING JOB.

We need a sticky that has high quality/documented installs and find a way to host the pics on the S2K server so they don't get deleted.
