Default Modifry DCI

Hi,

As we know, one of the combo commands is MODE and VOLUME UP/DOWN. If you hold the UP and DOWN a CD will scan forward or back. BUT I found out this morning that once you enter this mode, you can release the MODE button and just hold the VOLUME UP or DOWN button to Scan, in case you are scanning for distance.

Also, for anyone who has a Pioneer with a Graphic EQ: If you are in the Graphic EQ screen, the MODE/VOLUME UP and DOWN will step through the graphics's frequencies. This works on my 13 band...I would think it should work on the 5 band units also. Boost or cut still has to be done on the HU of course.

Just a little FYI Public Service Announcement

I have the 6700 and I'm using the wired DCI, works great!

The only caveat is to make sure that the plug is indeed inserted ALL THE WAY, otherwise some of the controls go wonky.

I had the 470 (similar to the 4700, just the premier model) and HATED it. The 6700 on the other hand, rocks

I would think wired would be there preferred way, as direct sunlight would not kill the sensor.
