Default Modifry Install problem

I installed it per instructions, after I turn my car on, nothing is changed... all 4 wires are hooked into main harness, alpine head unit with 3.5mm plug inserted... The switches on the actual

Does my head unit need to change in any menu's?
Not ONE option works.

Also, what is the 2nd blue plug that came out of the oem head unit, I originally thought THAT was the DCI controller plug, but realized the wire colors were on the actual plug that the new headunit connects to

double check all your connections and triple check to make sure all your wires are correctly hooked up and that you have power and no burnt fuses. Also, check with a multimeter. Its funny I did the same install but had to solder all my connections and it worked fine.

Wish I could be of more assitance, but its relatively simple to figure out unless youve got a bum unit.

You've probably already double-checked this, but make sure that the Modifry 3.5mm plug is plugged into the wired remote port and not a 3.5mm audio in port (many HUs seem to have both).

Obvious, but have to ask: Did you set the dip switches for an Alpine?

make sure those crimp things are actually making a connection at all. those are kinda hit or miss in my experience, that's why I don't use them anymore, soldering has yet to fail me

i ad a similiar problem when i did mine. turns out that grey/white and white/grey are different rofl. you need to triple and quadruple check the wires. 99% you wired wrong, 1% DOA. check each wire carefully and make sure the colors are correct. also, did you change the dipswitch settings? make sure they are set right also per instructions depending on which brand HU you have.

G/L.

I ordered from Modifry! The PnP harness for my Alpine unit is awesome. I had a problem with the DCI so i e-mailed Mr. Guru. He got back to me the next day.
