I just picked up my S2000 over the weekend, and when I put the 9500i in, I find that the windshield seems to be too far too steep (has worked in all other vehicles I've tossed it in, though) for the suction mount to stay stuck, as well as locked into the unit. Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried in a few different spots on the windshield, and all yield the same result. I might be able to snap some pics of said problem later tonight, but for anyone currently successfully using a 9500i at the moment, I'd love to see where you've got it stuck

Did you try bending the bracket to the angle you need?

 

Didn't have a problem mounting mine up. I have it right underneath the rear view mirror.

 

Dump it and get a V1
