Default MP3/Treo 650 install

I have recently bought a Treo 650, great phone does everything you need, including play's mp3's.

im trying to work out what the best way is to get it to work through my 01 factory CD player. is the best way to use a Hon-aux? or is there an even more simple way?

Also does anyone own a treo and set it up in their S in some nice way, perhaps even use the GPS on their treo in their car?

Thanks!

Hon-aux should, but you may need a minjack adapter if the treo has a non-standard audio out. Anything that converts your cd changer port to a straight, no-frills aux-in should be fine. If you charge the treo in your car, you may get a background speaker buzz - a ground loop isolator ($17 at radioshack) should knock it right out.

The proclip mount and ipod stand work well, but the treo may be too big and may get in the way of the radio door if it's mounted next to the shifter

There are a number of threads for palm and pocketpc setups, no treo's that i can think of, but they should give you some good ideas. The above setup will give you basic audio in, and easy access to the treo while driving without being distracting or dangerous.

this is good stuff, i think the console mount and the tilt holder should do the job. im guessing you buy both and the tilt holder sticks on the console mount?

perhaps the tilt will move it far enough out, to be away from the CD door. do you have your Ipod flat or do you have it at an angle, not sure how visable the screen would be without it tilted slightly, what do you think?

It should be OK with the swivel. You'll have to reach around it to get at the headunit controls, but the steering wheel controls and direct music access on the treo make that less of a hassle and the swivel will help too.

The holder comes with adhesive and screws, so you have a choice. FYI-the proclip people are nazis about returns, so dont do anything with the adhesive or screws before you're sure it fits, or they won't take it back, even to exchange. Good luck!
