I'm awaiting proto parts for an Electronic Relay Flasher (with independently adjustable on/off times) to get rid of the "hyperblink" issue with the Animated Turn Signals (or any LED signals, for that matter). The Animated Backup and Turn Signals have been complete for several weeks now, but I can't install them until the relay is finished.

In between time, I've been playing with ideas for the dash upgrade. I keep forgetting to bring in an outline of the board to work so I can have the machine shop mill one out for test fitment. I promised this would be my next project, and other than the sidestep for the relay, I'm not breaking that promise.

Mac - PM me your cell, and I will text you to remind you to bring a board to work!

Just getting impatient. DJ Cube was supposed to have this out like I think 3 years ago...

Are you going to match the radio/ AC clusters too (like DJ Cube's solution)? I think member r_duff did that too... IMO, it would look funky otherwise.

If your setp can change to more than 1 color, well... goddamn!

Cheers!

Seriously, would you expect any less of me?! Considering the multi-hundred $ prices I've seen thrown around for prior attempts at single-color, no-functionality boards, I should have little issue bringing mine in well under that.

Are you going to match the radio/ AC clusters too?
That is a separate issue/project altogether. Since the idea behind my version of the cluster is all about changing colors with external events (VTEC and the like), creating the same idea in the side panels seems out of place. Permanently changing to another color with LED swaps is easy enough, but having control of the color (while a possibility I'm not ruling out) is more involved. We shall see...

Yeah, I would be interested if you could make the gauges match (the base color, but not do all the color changing due to VTEC), I would be down instantly for a blue set!
