Default MY04 Headunit - 2 plugs?

Hey guys,

I just pulled the headunit out of my MY04 in order to replace it with an Alpine one. There were plugs going into the headunit (not counting the antennae). There was a white one that looks like it goes to the the adapter I got from Modifry. There is also a smaller blue connector? What's that for? What do I do with it? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

that's the control/display/audio in plug for the CD changer and/or XM tuner.

Sorry,

I just reread my post and realized I wasn't clear. There were two plugs going into the stock headunit, rather than just one. What's the second plug that goes into the stock headunit for?

I believe the second plug, as steven975 was saying, is for optional Honda audio accessories like a CD changer or XM radio. If you don't have these add ons it most likely goes to nothing but an unused connector in the trunk behind the fuel tank. Just leave it unplugged and push it out of the way of your Alpine.
