Need help but limited on info
Hey guys, i need your help with my stereo but the information i have to provide for now is a bit limited. So ill try and list as much as i know and what the situation is.
MY01
Pioneer DEH-3000ib HU
Aftermarket speakers (might be component unsure)
aftermarket tweeters
2 amps
12inch JBL sub
1 capacitor
So that's what i know right now, all this came with the car when i bought it but after realizing how i need a spare wheel and the sub takes up 3/4 of the trunk. I decided that i want to pull out the sub. After doing so, everything sounds really horrible. What i mean by horrible is, the volume doesn't go very high and when i turn up the volume on the HU, the higher i go, the more "sharp" the sounds is. It to the point where the sound is very flat, no bass whatsoever and it's "sharp" where it hurts your ears.
Im guessing since there's 2 amp, one amp powers the speakers and tweeters. The other amp is mono, powers the sub. So how should i be wiring the system now that i took out the sub. The sound is horrible, i wish i can describe it more accurately. HELP ME OUT GUYS!!!! Thanks

I'd take off the door panels and take a look at the speakers and possible crossovers... also, check the settings on the amp, it could be set up to filter out low frequencies to the speakers
