Need help with car wireing
Ok im new here and i searched for simalar topics to no avail. I need some advice on how to finish the system I have for my S. My goal is to have a 3 or 2 way component system, single sub, duel amps, running from a new deck. I Currently have my 2 amps ( JL 300/4 ( mono to the sub) and a JL E2150 for the components). I also have a JL 10W3v2 in a custom drop in box in the trunk. I am debating on a 2 or 3 way component system. I am gong with JL but anyone have any advice on this? what sounds better in our cars? also i have NO idea on how to run the wire to do this setup. what do i need to use 2 amps. I have never had a real system in a car and i want this one right. Please help

I can't really comment on how this will sound because I'm still running stock in my S. But, the best way to power multiple amps is to run a 4AWG wire to a distribution block in the trunk, and then 8 or 4AWG wires to each amp, depending on the power you're talking about, which doesn't sound like too much. Hopefully you have a deck with front/rear/sub preamp outputs, if not you can just split the signals using "Y" RCA cables, but you'll lose a little signal quality.

Sweet thanks. Only other question is if i put my tweeters in the pillers, how do i run the wireing to them from the crossover. does it do throught the boot in the door? I just dont want to screw it up

Yes you have to fish the wire though the door. Depending on the power of your amps, a distro block may not be enough. I have 2 separate 4 gauge run to each amp. Also if your radio only has one output, the amp should have a n in and out. You could jump the second amp from the first one, but same as above mentioned, you loose sub control and fade on the deck.
