So input the CODE! Your owner's manual will tell you all about this and in your owner's package you should also have the code on a card.

xviper...thanx for the response, I have no owners manuel ...looks like I'll need a new head unit and complete sound system...(is my wife reading this???) Seriously, no generic codes??

PS: on the record, your (xviper) comments are appreciated, they are always intelligent and courteous, thank you.

If you go down to your Honda dealer they can look it up for you by referencing the VIN# on the car. As long as the radio is the original car radio it should work. Also, check in the center console flap. My radio code is a 5 digit number located on that flap. Usually dealers stick it on the car somewhere, especially if you got it used and there is no manual included.

Haha! No need to buy a new radio (unless that's what you really want, then use this excuse to appease the wife ). Just do what "jwa" said. The dealer will help you out with the code as long as you can show the car and the radio are not stolen. The usual "reem your butt" fee will no doubt apply.

Oh, and you're welcome.
