well, it CAN be exaggerated like an amp's max power. simultaneously, most good companies won't go nuts w/ the number, just like they wouldn't w/ an amp.

Rockford and JL are probably publishing solid numbers. you can't be 100% sure, but it's a number that's worth looking at when shopping.

Nice amp indeed. I wish there were more on eBay than from someone with 0 feedback. That's always extremely scary to me. Too bad I can't use a GT-24! Found one on ebay for 375 brand new... But, alas, it's a 2 channel.
Buying on Ebay is risky, and from someone with zero feeback is very risky. That is the assumption of all buyers and that makes the final price lower than usual.

I got some very good deals from sellers with zero or very few feedbacks. I bought brand-new Kappa Perfect 6.1 for $180, local pickup, from zero feedback seller, but I had a change to inspect the speakers before paying for it. I bought brand-new BA GT-24 for $280 shipped from seller with less than 10 feedbacks. What I did was reading the item descriptions carefully to determine if the seller is legitimate or the con artist. The legitimate first time seller usually do not over stated their products, the con artist usually over sale their products to attract attentions from bagain hunters.

Regardless of what I said, you must be confortable in making decision about buying anything on Ebay, if not then that is not a good choice.

Well, that settles it, I'm sticking with the 10W3v2 then! I mean, it's hitting pretty nice right now. I can only imagine what it would be like with a little extra wattage!

PJK3, jwa4378: Thanks guys. I'll let you know what I decide to go with and how it sounds.

TR-S2K, I've been buying off of eBay since it's inception! So, I'm pretty comfortable with it all. However, I have been screwed multiple times by 0 feedback sellers / buyers. I wrote the guy and asked him a few questions. If I buy from him I'm definitely going to use PayPal's buyer protection program!

I think I might go with the Alpine 545 and a new 10W3v2-D2 though. That looks to be the best choice so far... I'll definitely let you guys know.

Thanks for everyone's time! You guys rock.
