I bought MY03 about 3 months ago and since i have owned it the passenger window has had a hard time.
for a while the window will work as normal going up and down as it should. but every 5-10 times i roll the window down it will not go back up.
i can click the button repeatedly and it will not role up. It does still make the little click noise that it is supposed to when it rolls up though.
The window also has a deeper sound, as if its having a slightly harder time.

eventually after leaving the car sit or re starting it or trying it so much the window goes back up randomly. i am not sure what helps it though.

i am trying to diagnose what part it might be needing replaced.

any tips or suggestions will be much appreciated.

I would say best thing to do is take the door apart and see if you can work out what is worn out or broken, and if it needs replacing the door is already apart so its easy to swap out parts
