OEM alarm does not work. Please Help
I conducted a search using the site's search engine, but could not find the answer I am looking for, so I will ask now.
Recently, my alarm's remote control stopped arming/disarming. When I press the a button, the little red LED light blinks on the unit, but nothing happens with the car. I bought a new battery for it thinking that was the problem. Then I took out my other remote control (the used dealership gave me 2) and that did not seem to work etiher.
Can anyone tell me what my problem might be specifically? Is this something small that I can fix myself? Or do I need to bring it to the dealership. Any help is appreciated.

If Bill's advice doesn't work, do the following:
Unplug the "Keyless" fuse in the underdash fuse panel for a few seconds and replace it.
(Make sure you don't drop the little white fuse-puller behind the kick panel.)
My system would go out every six months or so and pulling/replacing the fuse cured it every time.
