I have sold 20 or so S2000s and they have all had different radio codes, mine is different than this one too.

Ive got a unique situation, i just bought my S2k and it came with an aftermarket radio. I just purchashed and installed an OEM one, but when i try to get my code from the website it says my VIN and the S/N dont match and i cant get a code. I tried going by my local dealer, but they were closed so i called a Honda dealer in california and he couldnt find a code with the S/N i gave him. Has anyone else been able to get a code for an OEM radio that didnt come with the car originally?

edit: Nevermind, i found the way to get the real serial number from the radio. You hold down preset 1 and 6 while you turn the radio on, then use the 8 digits it gives you. When i entered the S/N in this time it gave me 23 different radio codes. I locked the radio out twice trying them all, i had to pull the negative battery cable to try again. On the 20th try it finally accepted a code and now it works.
