In a 2006 S2000, is there a crossover for the door speakers, or is there just a splitter sending full signal to both speakers?

I'm replacing my door speakers with Polk 6501's and just wanted to ask what I'm getting into before taking the door panel off.

Yes, I did read all the "How to's" but nowhere does it specifically answer my question.

I don't think there's a crossover just a resistor on the tweeters. If you change the tweeters then you need a crossover but if it's just the mid then just swap them.

 

Thanks for the info Old Dog. My speakers should arrive tomorrow. They are 2 speaker components. Install looks pretty straightforward thanks to the other posts on the forum.
