Opinions on the New alpine D-class 4 CH amps?
Audison is one of the top amplifier brands on the market.
SRx is their lowest end stuff (which is still phenomenal). That particular amp is actually a pretty good size (physically). Might look into something like their VRx line (a bit more pricey, but a step up in quality and smaller footprint). If you can find an LRx 2.150 or 4.300 you'll be in good shape.
I'd probably go with this:

Depending on the HU, you can run an active setup (each speaker gets it's own dedicated channel, instead of 2 speakers per channel). If your HU doesn't support active crossovers, you can bridge the front channels and put 140W/chan into those Hexes (which can handle it) until you upgrade to a HU that does (marked improvement in sound quality, trust me).
As far as the Hexes go, I love them. Hard to beat their sound quality for $220 (on Ebay). I plan on keeping them in the S for quite a while longer (the SQ improvement from upgrading to something like Rainbow, Seas, Dynaudio, etc would be lost in the S). Great low end, rated to a lower frequency than most 6.5" component sets. As long as you're not playing something like rap, they'll handle low end grunt surprisingly well and with a lot of punch.

thanks for the suggestion. but I don't think I want to go that far. haha. I listen to variety of music. so form you opinion I'll be ordering the HEX 600s.
as for running dedicated channel I dont' think i want to go that far. although I would like to be able to control the tweeter volume sperately. it's going too far for me. haha.

It's actually very easy once you've got it set up. If you have the HU, simply set your crossovers, and then set the time alignment data for each speaker and bam, done. The point is, with a 5-chan amp, you'll be setting yourself up for future upgrades. With a 4-chan, you'll be set for future upgrades, but will have to purchase another amp specifically for the subwoofer.
And the 5-chan I posted is only $70 more than the 4-chan.
