Default Passesger Speaker Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I recently noticed that my passenger side speaker buzzes every time I turn on the radio/CD Player. This started happening right after the dealership replaced my dead battery (after winter storage - forgot to unplug battery )

What I noticed is this only happens when the car is on and not when the car is off. I also noticed that the buzzing still happens even if i disconnect the sub wire from the battery.

I tried taking out the deck and checked the rear wire harness and it looked fine (from what it seemed ) after reading a tip to check the rt speaker wire from behind the deck.

I know its had to diagnose the problem but do you guys have any ideas? Should I take it to a shop to check out?

Setup:
Stock Deck
Stock Speakers
JL 300-1 AMP
JL Stealthbox

For what its worth, a friend's friend's friend's shop installed the sub for free. Can anyone help? Thanks

Its hard to say with a factory unit powering your spks. Re-check the ground on the firewall side, and check the RCA cables to be sure its not touching each other or "grounding out". Unplug the SUB RCA at the AMP and see it it does it again. If not, theres your prob.

I had a hard time trying to find the ground but I checked the RCA cables (removed them & also made sure they weren't touching) with the car on and off and the rt speaker still buzzes. I took some pictures and hopefully I get time to get them up ASAP.

Switch in your driver side speaker to see if it works. Check cables and wires for shorts. Probably a short somewhere.

I'll look for a short somewhere, I don't think there is a blown speaker because when I have the car off the speakers sound fine (no buzz). What would be the best way to look for a short?

If it's buzzing only when the car is on, you have a ground loop. Recheck all your grounds - use a multimeter to ohm between the ground points and amplifier. Should have < 4ohms. Anything over that, you have a problem.
