About 6 months ago, started having problems with my keyless entry and Honda car alarm.

Sometimes it would work (lock or unlock the doors, set the alarm), and other times it wouldn't. I could walk around the car, hitting the lock/unlock button and sooner or later it would work.

Would happen with both remotes that I had. One of the remotes had been used maybe 10 times over 3 years (its the spare).

Now it won't do anything! Won't lock/unlock/set the alarm.

Changed out the batteries in both remotes a couple of times to no avail. Little red light on the remote comes on so I don't think its that battery.

I pulled out the three fuses in the under dash fushblock that had keyless entry on them, and it worked for a few days, but now its back to not working at all.

Tried to reprogram the remote and it worked while I sat in the car, got out and it stopped working again.

Any thoughts or suggestions besides taking it to a dealer?
