Questions about component choices
Well guys, im sorry if this has been beat around the bush but i couldnt find a solid answer after some searches.
Im going to replace my components in my 2003, i am trying to find my limits in terms of the exisiting hole size and speaker depth. Ive read 2" as to speaker top depth but is this using the existing black basket as a spacer?
But i was looking at either the Kicker 65.2 which is a oversized 6.5 with top depth of 2 1/8 and requires a cutout diameter of 5 11/16...
My other choice is the Pioneer Rev 6.5 but im still researching as to finding out mechanical specs on it but to no avail..
Ive read about how the CDT's are the best value for the money given the current internet special but their depth is 2.75 or so..
Id appreciate any advice or input as to fit and any experiences of the aforementioned component sets...
Thanks Kal

Stay away from kicker and pioneer speakers. If you want better sound, you cant be cheap. Spend a little more money and get quality. As far as stock baskets, just cut off the "basket" part, and leave yourself a nice round spacer....
