Default Right side mirror auto tilt with reverse

Anyone ever figure out a way to do this? Shouldn't be that difficult.

The best way would be to somehow wire the "down" feature of the mirror and the reverse lights. How to actually do it, Im not sure.

I went through this with another member here...don't remember if t was in PMs or in a public thread, so try a search. It's possible, but it wouldn't be easy or fun...the hardest part would be the mechanics and determining when/where to rotate to. You would need stepper motors to get the positioning accuracy required, a microcontroller to keep track of it all, etc.

It shouldn't be that complicated. I was thinking a timed signal to the down motor, triggered by the reverse switch.

That was the exact comment made by the other guy...do a search and see my comments to it. It's not as simple as timing...

I wouldn't need this with my S. I almost only drive it when the top is down.

It would be very nice to retofit into my truck though for hooking up my trailer or launching my jet ski.

Let me know if you figure out a good "doner" mechanism.
