Thanks Schwing...they're cool and all, but I don't think they quite compare with any of Edisons gadgets.

Current pricing is: $240 + 10 shipping(48 states) + CA tx if you live here. I'm thinking about offering Red and Blue for $20 more. Wiring harness for stock deck is $20 + 5 shipping(if sold separately).

Well I installed my S Pods yesterday! They're great. VERY Nice looking. Just as expected.

I agree with RUE ... PITA if your speakers don't fit on outside of mounts. Which I imagine most wont!? (might be wrong) Maybe suggestion.. make back like the front ... Where you attach the finished look once installed. Leather in rear would then be attached via velcro. Just an idea. Not a complaint.

Mark, from the brochure that station put up it looks like the headset speakers on the 04 will be kind of like yours, but they don't look NEAR as clean.

Default S-Pod or Lucid Panels?

Of those who have the S-Pods installed in your rollbars, do any of you also have the Lucid Rear Panels running as well.

I am not going with a component system, but just want to fill in the sound with some decent coaxials.

I'm wondering if any of you had to double up or why you picked one over the other.

Thanx in advance,
Hockey

Never thought of doubling up.

I got the S-pods because I did not like the idea of my speakers firing into the seats. I really liked the idea of the speaker behind the head.

The asthetics of the the S-pods is awesome. People that don't know the car think it's stock. Even other owners have walked right by without noticing.

The lucid option (especially if you cut the panel yourself.) is WAY cheaper than the S-pods. I think the S-pods are worth the cost though. (duh.)

Either way I am sure you will get a fuller sound. Good luck with the install.
