I got the S-pods because I did not like the idea of my speakers firing into the seats.

Are you coming to the Palomar Run on 10/19?
I'm not sure where Elk Grove is, but the Irvine group is meeting the San Diego group and running Palomar Mountain. There's a big list (over 30) so far. I'm hoping to compare some systems while there. I hope you can make it so I can meet you and check out what I'm about to buy.

Count me in on the S-Pods in black. I almost have the $$ ready to go, one more paycheck.

Oops! Just checked where Elk Grove is. Unless you want me to pick you up at the airport, I don't think I'll see you there.

I played some golf near you, in Galt - Dry Creek G.C. to be exact.
I remember it was a long a$$ drive from East Bay SF.

Anyway, I'll hit you up in a couple more weeks for my Pods.

Yeah, I won't be making it to the Palomar run. I did however make it to The Megameet in Irvine and plan to again next year. You should think about Sac2k days next spring, we had nearly 100 cars this year.

I've had the lucid in rear on both of my S's, finally decide to install the s-pods yesterday... upgraded my speakers and took out the lucid panels, mark did an excellant job and the sound is awsome!! he took photos and will post them soon... I highly recomend going that route if you can swing it... lucids sound fine but s-pods rock!!

No offense but I really don't like the idea of one speaker behind my head. What about imaging??? You are only getting the left or right channel of the music. That's half the sound! Music is made to be in stereo.
