Rear speakers are a bad thing in almost all cars, and putting them in the head rest is even worse...
Rear speakers just ruin the sound stage, draging it back and down most times.
If all you want is noise then fine stick speakers anywhere you like.
But putting a comp set at the back of your head is just a waste of money if you ask me (and anyone thats 'in to ' car hifi.
Old saying but i'll use it "When was the last time you went to a concert and stood with your back to the stage?"
And 'Blair Morrow' your amp is not 1600 ! its rated at 4 x100 rms with 0.03 THD, and your head unit is putting out 4 x 12 watt rms IF YOUR LUCKY. 200 watts LMFAO...

) but I have listened to speakers in the S2000 with fronts only, and then with the rear speakers faded in very slightly. It sounds sooo much better with the rear speakers! I brought the soundstage to just in front of my ears. I don't hear anything directly from the rear speakers. It's like having a set of headphones. Where is the soundstage then? Right at the ears. Have you listened to the S2000 with rear speakers?
