MARK....do you think it would be possible to design a speaker that could be put in the center console area...like behind the cup holder....almost like a center channel. or maybe a nice set of tweeters above the radio where the "top-down-mode" vents are? This would probably greatly enhance the stereo effect...almost like surround sound!

I've already discussed this with another board member, and it would be easy to do. You could cut into the lid of the "hidden compartment", but you'ld lose storage space. I personally prefer the stealth approach, or factory appearance of the S-Pods. Also, I have my hands full with this project.
For more insight into the center channel effect, you may want to ask that question as a thread in the electronics forum. Other board members are much more knoledgeable than me.
