Got S Pods in the Suzuka blue 03 this weekend. The blue leather is a perfect match and the sound is incredible (went with Krystal speakers). Neil here in Sacaratomato does very good work, and Mark's pods are the best!

Below are finished photos of 03 Suzuka Blue S-Pod installation done at Rolling Audio with pride. We installed Crystal CPE 5-1/4" components in the S-pods, and replaced the front components with a matching set of 6-1/2" CPE series as well. Leaving the factory head unit in place the sound was awesome for a minimal investment! This is the latest version of S-pods and as always the installation was flawless and the results are far better than Honda could do. To aid in speaker response we opted to put polyfill (pillow stuffing) inside the enclosure to increase midbass response.

I've now cosolidated S-Pod information in this thread at the request of marks2002. Once I get the other URLs I will consolidate into one big S-Pod information thread.

has anyone set up the spods using a mono channel for the rears?

pjk3 suggested this setup, but no one has come up with a way to do this. At least, one that does not require an additional amp (bridged to mono).

why would you want this? The original dolby surround sound had mono rears and the stereo panning of the front helps your mind fill in the rest....

With the new ones in my car (see pictures above of the Suzuka Blue) I just set balance to the right 1, and fader forward 2 or 3 (depending on the type of music) and it is perfectly balanced for me in the driver seat. It's not rocket science.
