Hello everyone, I am a new s2000 owner. I have a 2004 AP2 s2000. I am here wondering If anyone knows if my s2000 has keyless entry. I did not get any remotes when i bought it. I have checked under my driver dash and I do see the keyless entry module. I also tried programming a new remote but get nothing after following the procedure. I get No click or locking doors to confirm remote has been programed. Can someone guide me as to what I may be missing?
ALL S2000s came with keyless/remote entry with three (3) keys and two (2) remotes. 2 keys that do everything and 1 "valet" key of limited function (as is any of us would let a valet drive or park our car!).
There are different frequencies for the remotes depending on the market and maybe model year which may require dealer or locksmith assistance to program. I think once you get one working remote you can program another yourself.

This is the marking on the back of my remotes. It may match the partially obscured data in your photo.
What's the code on the remote you're attempting to link? I think this is critical.
Your receiver shows E4EG8DK (Delta Kilo). You'll notice my 2006 remote is:E4EG8DJ (Delta Juliet) and I'd not expect to work on your car.
I'm wild guessing you need an India or perhaps a Hotel suffix key. Letters I and O are sometimes skipped on part numbers like this as too easily confused with numeral 1 (one) or 0 (zero). Anyway, what's the remote code you're holding? Photo of that label will help.
