Default S2000 radio code question

Hi all,
I HAVE MY CODE NUMBERS! How do I 'input' the code numbers into the radio? Don''t have the car tight now, daughter taking it for a ride. But I want to know what needs to be done when she gets back. I have the owners manual and I could not find anything about touching or holding down buttons while imputing the code? The dealership said hold buttons 1 and 6 down at the same time and turn on the radio?
Any help would be appreciated, and step by step directions are what I need, assume I know nothing except my code numbers (which is true).
Thanks in advance for the help.
Robert

i belive you just press the numbers that make up the code? i.e. code is 6341 just press the corresponding numbered radio station preset numbers in sequence

I'll going try that, right now I must have tried more than the 10 times allowed so the car is sitting in my garage with the ignition on for 1 hour to reset my try times (I hope)!
Thanks for the help, I'll let you know if it works.
Thanks,
Robert

Forget holding buttons like the dealership said!!! Regardless of what the radio screen says simply input the code using the buttons, one at a time, easy peasy. I overthought it trying to find an 'input' button when none is needed.
Thanks,
Robert

I note the solution has been found by now but for others with the same question note there were several different radios fitted depending on model year so the reset procedure may be different for each. My '06 displays the word CODE on the display waiting for the numbers to be pressed.

1&6 gives you the serial number so you don't have to pull the radio. a lot of times you could find a sticker with the code under an ash tray or under the fuse box cover back in the day...
