So my uncle asked me if my car has an alarm so I start hitting the window and door panel kind of hard and nothing happens. But when I press the lock button twice it still beeps. Any ideas?

 

It's just a keyless entry fob, not an alarm. You can break all your windows if you'd like and it's not going to make a noise. The beep on the double lock is just an awareness feature to be sure you locked it while walking away. I always wait to hear for that beep to make sure it's locked.

 

The real test. Leave a window open and lock the doors. Wait a minute and then open the door from the inside.
