They DEFINITELY moved the ECU to another location... the panel practically touches the outer skin of the ECU stock.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think the driver's side panel is not the original panel.... i think it's a custom panel and has been built up a substantial thickness.

possibly the same for the passenger panel.

too bad the pics are crappy.

Ill have to find out if the ECU was relocated or not. Neither panel are the original. Both where fabricated out of fiberglass.

Do you have more info on this install? I'm wondering where and how they moved the wiring out of the way and where they moved it to, to fit that speaker on the drivers side?

And do you have any pictures of the buildup?
bleh, low staging and since the S already has an emmence amount of road noise, installing the speaker that low near the floor where all the carpet will kill most of the reflection gain.

its easy to relocate, extend all the wires and then move. that has been a trick of the trade for a long time. people used to relocate alarm brains the same way and mount it away from the obvious.

for kick panel installs, most cars would need to have this done in order to achieve maximum volume (if needed) and full control of where drivers should be placed.
