Seeking system advice
I currently have a pair of 6.5 Kappa Perfects, and the Infinity REF7540A amp. I am wondering if it is possible to run two 8 inch Subs with the Wlaurent enclosures. I would like to run the perfect off the front two channels and run the two subs off the rear two channels, will this be possible?
In theory it should work.
You did not specify what subs you are looking at. When your bridge the rear channel, you get ~ 300 watts rms at 4 ohms. So as long as you don't need subs that will blow out the fenders, you should be ok.

I am still trying to research which sub I should get...so I'm open to suggestions. Is it worth hooking up two subs? Will it be noticably louder if I have 300 rms going to it. I talked to a local stereo shop and he said that I should get a two ohm sub and just hook up each sub to one channel, instead of bridging it.
Not sure why your being ignored...I have a similar set up except I have a single 8" sub in a wlaurent enclosure. It's a JL 8xxx (i forget). Anyways, it's the one with 2 voice coils. I bridge 2 channels of a 4 ch amp to it and I push it pretty hard. It cranks much better than I ever expected but I could not, or at least I would not run two of those subs without a dedicated amp. In fact if I ever upgrade my system, that would be what I'd do, add another 8" in a wlaurent enclosure and drive them off a seperate amp. There are several frequent posters that could give you specific things to consider about 1 vs 2 and what you should get in either case.
Hopefully they'll chime it.
