A shop suggested the following...
If you're worried about losing the dash controls, you can either:
1) Buy your own PAC SWI-3 and see my webpage on how to install/program it (roughly $50)
2) Buy Pinky's pre-made PAC SWI-3 wiring harness and plug-and-play (roughly $150)

I'd never spend $2000 plus in stereo equipment for this car because its not the best receptacle for a sound system - being open air, and the overall road/engine noice.
For less than $1000 I could have an amazing setup going. But to each his/her own. Make sure the shop has worked on S2000s before, that would be a major plus!

Yes, the shop has done at least one S2 before. My guess is that the suggestion he gave me happened to be very similar to the other guy that got the install done. I asked him if the components would fit, and he said yes cuz he's done it before.
