where did you mount the antennae? thanks

Much as others may malign me for doing so, I mounted mine on the sheet metal between the roof and the trunk. The difference is, I had mine painted body color, so it really does look OEM. And the best part - NO drops, ever...

I have a photo, but it might be a bit too dark to see...

 

i had mine there (micro w/ rubber feet) until i noticed what it was doing to the paint after being bumped around a few times. velcro'd in on the vertical panel directly behind the secret compartment, along w/ my gps antenna. no noticable loss of reception, and its not really noticable

 

Mine is at the very front of the dashboard in the center. Just behind the windshield.

 

I wound up mounting mine (XM) on the tape surrounding the front window - on the driver's side by the side mirror. I was mostly concerned with scratching the painted surfaces. It also blends in and is barely noticeable (it's a micro antenna).

 

I have my antenna on the back of the rear tray where the top goes down into. I have tried it in a few different places in the car and it seems to work fine in the glove box or mounted in any direction or position.

 

Mine is inside the secret compartment, mounted on the lid upside down with 3M double sided tape. Works great and no one can tell I have XM as all the wires are hidden.

 

Mine is in the far corner of the dash, next to the windshield on the passenger side. I get perfect reception and it's pretty inconspicuous.
