I am interested in getting some first hand Sub advice from ths S lovers. I would like to know if there are special sub enclosures that fit in the spare tire area and do you have to remove the spare to put these in. If so, what are the smallest alternatives for the trunk area that take up the least amount of this limited cargo space.

I have a RIO Yellow 2007.

I like the idea but would there be more rattling then usual?

 

Apparently there was a sub made for the Acura RSX that fits inside
the spare - you can find more by searching for "rsx sub".
Other than that, Darkside Subs makes a box that fits in the trunk side,
and there's been a recent thread about a passenger footwell sub.

 

JL Audio ACP110LG-TW1 400W MicroSub+ Amplified Subwoofer Ported-Enclosure System with Single 10" 10TW1 Subwoofer. And yes you have to remove the spare.

 

Amazon has pre fab boxes for our spare well. 1 10" and 1 12"..... Amplifier in the spare tire location...
