Default Speaker upgrade & addition - WOW

Over the weekend I upgraded the stock speakers and added speakers behind the seats. The Crystal CPE60 component speakers in both front & rear made an unbelievable difference. I still have the stock radio and I can't believe how much richer the sound is. I'm sure I'll be upgrading the radio next, but for now the system rocks.

The weather hasn't exactly offered a chance to drop the top and listen, but for now with the top up the sound is incredible.

I know this didn't help the horse power range, but I know I got a big boost in listening horse power.

A BIG thanks to Neil & the team at Rolling Audio. These guys truly care about installation quality and it shows!

I had considered swapping out the OEM speakers and keeping the OEM headunit and went to a number of audio shops but was told that unless I go to a subwoofer setup with amp the sound will not be that much improved.

As a result I have decided to just keep the originals until I can afford a subwooker/amp setup, maybe I'll relook at things again.

Can you show some pics of the rear speaker install?

Thanks in advance

I'll shoot a picture or two within the next two days. I left my digital camera at work. Give me till Monday.

The component speaks made a huge difference. The clarity is way better...

Thanks a lot, I am interested in putting a set of speakers in the rear that don't take up trunk space as a subwoofer would.

Here's what I did and it sounds sweet.
s-Pods

4" Boston components in rear and 6.5" Boston Pro60s in front

JL Audio 300/4 amp

Rear Speaker volume control on the dash control panel.

Here are the photos. The speakers made a huge difference, go with components and you'll be happy. Good luck in your search.
