Using a Dremel, I removed the stock grills (Every thing on the inside of the chome ring. the Holes). and replaced them with the MB Quart Tweeter grill.

i have a question about mounting depth of the front speakers.. i'm thinking of purchasing some components with the following specs:

woofer:
mounting diameter: 132.1mm / 5.19"
mounting depth: 70.8mm / 2.7"

tweeter:
mounting diameter: 26.5mm / 1.0"
mounting depth: 44.5mm / 1.7"

thanks in advance

My Mounting Info details from MB Quart Site

woofer:
mounting diameter: 5.61"
mounting depth: 2.54"

tweeter:
mounting diameter:1.59"
mounting depth: .53"

Using the Stock hardware, I don't think the tweeters will fit. This assumes that you mount them the same way I did. The diameter is fine, it is the depth. You might have 1.0" at the most, using the stock metal bracket. You have more room behind the bracket, maybe another .5" but you would need to manufactur your own metal bracket.

By the info on the tweeter you posted, it looks like the Mag is IronFerrite and not Neo. You might want to see what else you can find. Unless the diam of the tweeter include the mounting housings. I just installed the raw tweeter driver.
