Thanks!
so what would you recommend for the s2000 as a good component set? i guess eventually i need to step up to separate tweeters and woofers?
NS, you said you have 2" tweeters? so you had to do a little modifying to get them to fit where the factory ones were?

No, they're 1" tweeters. I did have to do some dremel work to the stock plastic mesh to get them to fit...but then, everyone that's seen them agrees they're much more attractive than the stock plastic mesh.

And finally, tweeter pods mounted in the door:

My suggestion, if you seriously are looking into separates, is that you first invest in a 4-channel amp for your highs. You'll need it to run separates (pretty much requires an active setup). A 4x100 amp will provide plenty of power for your separates (even a 4x50 would be enough), but can be bridged (and gain adjusted) to power your current passive component set. No need to make this a big, one-time purchase. Moving to separates/active can be extended out over a period of time...

i already have a 4-channel amp used for the fronts, it's just bridged, i was going to be picking up another amp, so then i'd have 2 amps that i'd be able to use if i ever went to an active set up.
if you have a powerful enough 4-channel amp, do you not need 2 amps for an active set up?
