Default type of battery

im looking to upgrade my battery to power up a better headunit and something that could last me during the winter as this is my daily. and im also looking for something light weight.. thanks guys!

light weight and better power are typically at odds with each other.

Yeah, every lightweight battery for the S that I know of has problems down the line. Nearly no Odyessy batteries are left in the S since they've all died and the company discontinued the whole line. The race batteries don't have a whole lot of juice either. One option that you may want to consider is to get a lightweight battery and a Bat Cap (http://www.batcap.net/). I bought one in lieu of a capacitor but haven't installed it yet. It's supposed to be strong enough to crank the car by itself yet weighs only a few pounds.

Get a Odyssey PC680 drycell battery. They're not too expensive and work just as well as all the other small batteries if not better. More info HERE

I installed mine under the trunk on the passenger side. Fits like a glove.

Yup, made the casing from aluminium. Basically traced it on a sheet, cut it in 1 piece, then folded. It doesn't need to be very thick. On those photos, it's still a little rough, but it's quite hidden so even after the final touch up it doesn't differ much.
