Viper Alarm/Disconnecting Battery question
Hi I have a question.
Before I replace the stereo I know I'm suppose to disconnect the battery but since I have Viper alarm do I need to do anything to reprogram the alarm or anything?
If I just discnnect the battery and reconnect the alarm will work again??
I don't want disconnecting battery to interfere with my Viper alarm.
Thanks

It's been several years since I installed a Viper alarm in a friends car, but you should be okay to disconnect the battery since the programming is or was all in dip switches. When you re-connect have your remote handy as the alarm will go off.
BTW, you can just pull the radio fuse and then you won't have any power going to the radio and don't have to disconnect the battery.
