I got a alpine 147BT to use bluetooth for audio (pandora/play music/etc...), a ktp-445A amp to add some extra watts, and polk mm6501 component speakers... It is an awesome setup in my opinion. You could go with a cheaper headunit with bluetooth without the rear usb port and the next level down polk components (db series) and get something similar. Add the modifry dci and you are above your budget but I really love my setup.

Most 6.5" speakers will fit without doing anything more major than substituting a ring spacer up to 3/4"
for the plastic speaker basket.
The Alpine SPR-60C speakers would not be at their best without an external amp - they aren't very
efficient. If you are going with headunit power alone, look for speakers with a sensitivity of 92db
or higher. A couple of choices would be:
Polk db6501
Infinity Primus PR6500cs

Pioneer headunit with bluetooth, pandora, front usb, two rca outputs in the rear, and can change colors to any color for $130, Pioneer A-series component speakers for the doors sound insanely good with an amp, without is just fine $70 shipped 2 days from amazon prime.

No need to shell out for good quality.
