Infinity's are bright as well IMO. but i like that for meta/rock. If you dont want that kind of sound out of a tweeter, id recomend the JL's or Polk.

 

I have 4 kappa co-axials in my truck and I agree they are bright. Yet, they are not as bright as some of the supposedly high end speakers out there. Another consideration is that the Kappas are 2 ohm where most everything else will be 4 ohm. Also the kappas put out a lot of sound for the input power yet can take a fair amount still. Basically, they get very loud. Can't help on the CDT's. I never heard them and don't plan to ever pay that much for the oppurtunity.

 

I have CDT eurosports, very good speakers for the price. I would put them higher than infiniti's. Everyone has their own opinion, you would have to listen to both in person to see which suite you better.

One thing I can say about the CDT's is that they are very neutral.
