I'm going to install 2 8" Alphasoniks this weekend (yes,with the WLaurents).
I'll let you know how it sounds. My guess is F###ing good.

 

I installed my Clarion SW10X last night in the tool well enclosure. The enclosure is quality. Make of 3/4" MDF and plywood, and fiberglass for the lower portion. Just over 1.0 cubic feet. Sounds amazing. The only thing is that the carpet doesnt EXACTLY match, but I think it looks better. It is lighter than stock, but my sub is silver, so it looks almost intentional that it is transitioning from darker to lighter. Can someone host photos for me? I just need a paying member that I can PM photos to.

Comcast offers hosting. you may have to call their tech support to get it turned on, or at least visit their support site.

once you get it turned on, they should have a nice little application for uploading files. upload your photos, then use the [ img ] tags to post them here.

 

will do....I will try later this weekend...now I have to drive to Tampa to visit family. I have to drive my Mom's damn Volvo 850, b/c I am picking someone up at the airport and their luggage will not fit in may car.....GRRRR !!! I was SO looking forward to 4 hours of XM clarity and nice bass....

i had a strap break once, and it was no problem getting a replacement.

 

I'm trying to fit a JL 10w6v2 subwoofer in the V2 type enclosure on the driver's side.

do you think this would work?

I spoke to Wlaurent but he wants me to ship the sub to him which is no problem but that is one heavy piece!
