IF anyone has picked up/installed XM radio in Canada please PM me as I would like to know how you do it. As far as I can tell, it's semi-illegal like DirecTV.

Regardless of coverage, I think you would need a U.S. billing address for the monthly service charge. Unlike DirecTV, the head units do not use access cards, so XM should be able to account for every activated unit. That is, until someone figures out a way to hack them.
