XTC Baffles

i've been known to say that... and i've heard some excellent speakers sound terrible due to those XTC baffles. you want to keep the rain cap aspect, but cut the rest out.

most door speakers are IB (infinite baffle) design, and a sealed enclosure will definitely not help the way they sound, and as John pointed out - it could cause damage.

Yea I put some behind my MBs and they sounded like poo. I immediately took the baffles out and cut the back of them in half. For weather purposes only. I had the drivers side speaker already replaced from water damage. If you drive in the rain alot I would use them but butcher enought to just keep the water off.
