Yay/Nay? Arrow III plus options/install for ~$400.00
Okay peeps, what's your take on this deal from Al & Ed's?
Clifford Arrow III ($299)
Hood pin (freebie)
Glass tamper cabin mic ($39)
Siren w/built-in back-up battery ($89)
Trunk-pop ($15)
- %15 (AAA discount)
Includes install fee. Total ends up to being $400 or so.
Installer plans to hide the brain deep inside the dash (hiding under the seat costs $70 extra for labor). I wasn't interested in the radar/proximity alarm (way too paranoid to leave the top down when parked). Ignition kill was another option that seems appealing... costs another ~25.
I'm working with a tight budget of ~400. What would you do differently?
Thanks!

I'd buy the alarm itself online for a little bit less along with the accessories you want. Then take it to Al and Ed's to have it installed. You should be able to do all that for around $300-$350.
