I have a PND. So I'm in luck. Even if I wasnt, I could do the soldering. I've done lots of board soldering. It's not as hard as you think just requires patience and proper gear. But yes you sure can blow it if you aren't at least somewhat careful. I think I'll try tomorrow. Heated garage does away with the issue of snow Haha. If I get it done oll report back.

Emailed them last night got a response this am. The PND ecu like we have does have an internal pull up resistor. All we need is to do a signal wire directly to c7. That's pretty fantastic. Excited to get that wired in and my boost solenoid and wrap this project up

So, I hooked up my flex fuel sensor and plugged it into the C7 pin.

Now, I'm definitely not a tuner, but for the life of me I could not find the sensor reading on the Doctronics software. I found the Flex Fuel tab and enabled it, but where the heck is the reading of the flex fuel sensor in the software?

Here's the answer...

Go to the "ECU Online" Window, go to the "Dash" Tab.
Now right-click on one of the numerical Displays, a Selection Pop-Up comes, and you can find "Ethanol" under "Advanced".

I plan on finishing up today. Whether or not my injector orings show up decides if I can test it or not. Anyways, is it working and reading properly for you?

Wonder if anyone does etunes for this platform yet? Not many tuners here (MD) know about this, not that I know of anyway.

Ebtec does in georgia. But he seemed to start having software issues on his end, even though mine worked flawless. I blame his use of an older version mixed with possibly an older laptop forcing him to use said older version. I'd honestly contact AP1 cheif on here. He does hondata if I remember correctly which this is VERY similar in software. The only quirks on this ecu is hardware connection and making sure you select the proper ecu load format for if you run off the stock O2 or a wideband. I've gotten good fast responses from the people over at doctronics directly via email. And ballade sports has some answers as well. Though not all.

Like one odd thing is, to run an electronic boost solenoid i need to disable my purge canister, and use that ecu pin out which was B21. The other pwm output of B24 can only be used for accessories like an electronic water pump. Kinda silly but something you would never know without contacting doctronics. Additionally theres no test function nor any way to confirm if the setup is working other than trying to use it. Same with our flex fuel questions you saw above .

Speaking of which David you never said if you see an accurate read out on your sensor setup. I have yet to test mine still cause I pinched my injector orings. Fail fail fail.

I had a few contact with "Kinetic Racing", which is the official distributor of Doctronics in Portugal. This guy named "Paulo" can do etune on Doctronic ProEcu-s2k.

And to confirm the previous message, I also had contact with AP1chief who told me he could do it, even if he personnaly prefers AEM EMS if he had to choose.
