Default Flashpro boost control no longer available. Other options?

I recently boosted my MY07 car and had planned to run Flashpro for engine management for quite some time. I recently shipped my ECU to Hondata for the PWM modification so the ECU can run boost control. However, Hondata sent the ECU back unmodified. When I reached out to them about it they said that this modification has not been available since 2019 and will not be offered in the future since the electronic parts for the modification are no longer manufactured.

Are there any other options to get ECU managed boost control? I'm probably wrong but I find it hard to believe that the electronic parts are no longer manufactured. Is it possible to have someone else do this modification besides Hondata? I really don't want to shell out 2.5k for an infinity setup just for boost control. Ktuner seems to support everything I need but reviews seem to be hit or miss with it, and then there's the problem of finding tuners for it. I would really love to stick with Hondata if possible but boost by gear / RPM is hard for me to walk away from.

What is everyone else doing for boost control on 06+ cars these days? Are there any other options or should I just suck it up and run a Truboost or similar?

I'm interested as well. I just sent them an email. I'll probably go infinity once the car is 15 years old for emissions in MA. I'm almost done with a P tuning install, just waiting for the recirculated wastegate tube. I would like to not have all 14 psi in the early gears.

I've looked everywhere for a diy or anything relating to what is done to the ecu. Google always just brings me to posts saying send it to Hondata.

First post I've seen that the 2006 ECU plus FlashPro can't handle boost control. Don't recall any mention of having to alter it in the series of LHT supercharging videos where they use FlashPro in their modification. (Curiosity only as I'm not going to add forced induction to my '06.)

Anyone have any input? I have a Schmuck Built kit ready to install and Hondata FlashPro with no boost control option available at this time. Does anyone know if Hondata will start installing this chip/pin again? I bought a manual boost controller for now so I have something to use to control boost with the tuner but would love for Hondata to start installing this chip/pin.

Flash pro CAN handle boost control as well as ethanol support. The issue with boost control is that your ECU needed to be physically sent in for the hardware modification. I am unsure if its a chip shortage thing or potentially getting in trouble with the EPA. I had my 2007 ECU modified in 2017 when I was building my car and it works GREAT. I am also on the Ptuning kit + Flash pro.

I'd call them and see exactly what the issue is (shortage, legality, etc.).
